Historical Black Entrepreneurs is a mural designed to inspire the future captains of New Haven industry to be as diligent, hardworking, and aspirational as the venerable African American entrepreneurs throughout American history. The mural depicts from left to right: Carlton Highsmith, William Lanson, Maggie Lena Walker, O.W. Gurley, Annie Turnbo Malone, George F Grant, Madam CJ Walker, and Booker T Washington.
